Are you afraid of snakes? How about robots?
Snake robots are tiny robots that have all the
advantages of a snake and is a good example of innovation inspired by nature
and bio mimicry.
These robots can be used to do jobs that are
dangerous, jobs that require access to small spaces, and jobs that require the
precise workings of a robot.
Snake robots can access places and do things that conventional
robots and humans cannot, they can be used for many purposes like medical
treatment, archeological digs, rescue efforts, etc.
Guidance and team work
The
teams made plans and decided what they would achieve. Plans were made in two
parts, the final goal and smaller objectives to be achieved for each review
meetings.
The
guides reviewed these plans and recognized the problems they would face and
gave suggestions as to how to face there problems.
Insights
A chart was put up on the
notice board of the class and cards were provided, the students were asked to
write their insights on the card and pin it up on the board.
Remark sheets were placed
in the back of the class and the participants were asked to write their
insights about each other on these sheets, the remarks would let each
participant know what the others found inspiring about them.
