Virtual Reality



We have five senses taste, touch, smell, sight and hearing. However there are much more senses such as sense of balance. The realistic feel is got from our senses. Thus, our entire experience of reality is simply a combination of sensory information and our brains sense-making mechanisms. If the senses are presented with made up information of reality that is not really there, then it would interpret as real.

Virtual reality involves presenting our senses with a computer generated virtual environment that we can explore in some fashion.There are a variety of applications for virtual reality which include architecture, sport, medicine, arts and entertainment. The different types of virtual reality system have the same characteristics, which is the ability to allow a person to view three-dimensional images.One of the virtual reality system is CAVE system. The only difficulty with virtual reality is that it is time consuming to develop and expensive.Virtual reality is the creation of a virtual environment presented to our senses in such a way that we experience it as if we were really there. It uses a host of technologies to achieve this goal and is a technically complex.
